Due to unpredictable weather, the traditional Wednesday braai will be postponed.
Other news is that the final track layout for the MX National on 18 June 2011 has been completed. The Snr track incorporates routes for the junior beginners (65 & 85 cc) bikes. The big step-up (Marathon Mountain) has been changed so that it can either be jumped or ridden.
Also a new whoop section has been incorporated.
The 50cc track was also completed last weekend.
We are expecting a lot of out of town visitors as from this weekend who are going to practice for the up and coming National.
The bar will be open every weekend up to the National, so please, support the bar and do not forget to bring your bike along
Once again die BORC bar will be open as from 17h00 on Wednesday 6 April 2011.
The track will as usual also be open for those who want to come and ride.
Duggie from Marathon Motors KTM has kindly donated three (3) helmets to be won as from next Wednesday night, 13 April 2011.
How it works is every time a drink is purchased at the bar, a free raffle ticket will be issued for every drink that you buy as from tomorrow (Wednesday 6 April 2011) night.
So bring your meat and family and join us at the track on Wednesday.
Club membership cards that have not yet been collected will also be available at the bar.
Hi everyone
Help we received at the track last weekend was dismal. Members who helped were as follows:
We will finish the track this Saturday, and invite everyone to come and test the track on Sunday, 6 February 2011. Bar and braai facilities will be available.
For those who would like to help at the track on Saturday, please bring lawnmowers or weed eater, as the grass is out of control.
WE CANNOT DO THIS ON OUR OWN!!!!!!!
To the new 2011 pit owner, an urgent request to please come tidy your pits as some are in a terrible state.
The cut off time for pit payments was 31 January 2011, thus pits not paid for by previous owners are now up for grabs to any 2011 members on a first come, first serve basis as there are some well established pits available.
As from this weekend, it will be the last time that non members can ride at the track at no charge.
As from next week the R50-00 levy will be imposed.
Regarding the Dealer Day, we unfortunately have to postpone to a later date which will be announced within the next couple of days.
